Solar connector protection level:
IP is the international code used to determine the protection level. The IP level is composed of two numbers, the first number is dustproof; the second number is waterproof, and the larger the number, the better the protection and other team leaders.
IP68 is the highest level of connector waterproof rating standard. Everyone knows, looking at the waterproof performance of the waterproof connector, mainly depends on the two digits XX behind the IPXX, the first X is from 0 to 6, the highest level is 6; the second X is from 0 to 8, the highest level is 8; therefore the highest waterproof rating of the connector is IP68. In other words, the IP68 connector is the connector with the highest waterproof rating. There are also many on the market that claim that the connector's waterproof rating standard reaches IP68, but in the true sense, there are still few IP68 connectors with excellent sealing performance, safe and reliable quality.
The meaning of “I” in protection class IP

IP test standard:
① Protection level against solid objects: completely prevent dust from entering;
② Water protection level: continuous immersion under a certain pressure.
This definition is rather vague. In fact, the test equipment, test conditions and test time of the ip68 waterproof level test should be approved by both the supply and demand sides, and its severity is naturally higher than any level below it.
